Since our founding in 1943, we have achieved steady growth as a trading company specializing in chemicals, supported by our 80-year history and trust. Currently, the system is based on a network of eight domestic and six Asian bases.

The Showa Kosan Group's belief is to increase corporate value through business, build strong partnerships with customers, grow together, and open up the future.

The field of chemicals continues to evolve, and our role is changing dramatically. Consideration for the environment and social responsibility are becoming increasingly important for building a sustainable future. The Showa Kosan Group will sincerely face these issues and develop its business with an emphasis on sustainability.

Under Challenge 2026, our 7th Mid-Term Business Plan, which began in fiscal 2024, we set a priority strategic field of a) the environment, b) mobility and information electronics, c) life sciences, and d) infrastructure. Our goal was to continue taking on challenges and reforms with the aim of becoming a more presence and a "company that is relied on by business partners and society and is proud of its employees."

We, the Showa Kosan Group, aim to be "Showa Kosan" relied on by providing optimal solutions to our customers' needs in Japan and Asia, while emphasizing contributions to society in response to the needs of the times.
